Chapter Elections and Snowfall Contest Winner; Meeting Reminder

As a reminder, the next CVAAMS meeting, hosted by Dr. Allen, starts April 22nd at 7 pm, with discussion starting at 6:30!

"Elections: Per the Chapter Constitution, "the slate of nominees shall be e-mailed to the members at least two weeks prior to the spring meeting." So here is what we have on the slate of nominees:

President: Ben Woods VP: Tom Drake Secretary/Treasurer: ??? (I am term-limited) Also from our Constitution, "Other nominations may be made by submitting a nomination to the Secretary-Treasurer prior to the start of the meeting when elections are to take place, or on the floor of the meeting prior to the election." So anyone interested in running for any position may still let me know. Or you can let the chapter know on the 22nd." (Dan Salkovitz)

We also have a winner for our snowfall contest (yes, that feels like ages ago)! Congratulations to Steve Hamilton, who forecasted 6.1 inches of snow at RIC. RIC picked up a grand total (sarcasm) of 7 inches this winter. Your name will be added to the Champion Snow Forecaster Plaque.
