CVAAMS Holiday Social Recap!

On Thursday December 12th, 2019, weather enthusiasts and meteorologists from around central Virginia gathered at The Grapevine to mingle and celebrate the holiday season.

The biggest announcement of the night was that the Central Virginia American Meteorological Society has officially been declared as a non profit!!!

CVAAMS survey results were reviewed, and results were overwhelmingly positive. Meeting dates were then discussed for the year 2020.

After eating, weather trivia games were played!

The first was weather golf, with the participant who had the lowest score being declared the winner. The winner was yours truly, Rohan! Then, we played Jeopardy, and the winner was Bill Hark!

Our next meeting will be in late February. We can't wait to see you there!
