December 12th Holiday Trivia and Social Recap!

On December 12th, weather enthusiasts and meteorologists from all over central VA came out to participate for our holiday gathering!

Our meeting started off with nominations for next year's chapter officers.

We then moved on to an analyzation of the surprise snowstorm that gave Richmond International Airport 11.5 inches of snow! For more information on the historical context of this storm, check out our previous blog post. Dan Salkovitz then introduced the group to an array of old weather books that go as far back to the 17th century.

After that, a game of trivia and jeopardy was played! Below are some pictures from the fun evening!
