February 10th Meeting Recap!

On February 10th, weather enthusiasts and meteorologists once again gathered virtually and in-person to watch Paul Gross' documentary on Operation Overlord, and the complex weather forecasting involved.
After a review of the meeting minutes and the treasure's report, it was time to watch a documentary that shed light on the monumental role weather had in the success of the Allied mission. After the documentary had ended, Paul Gross was kind enough to come on in between his newscast to discuss the painstaking research he conducted for more than 3 years to produce this film and also answered any questions members had. He also dived deep into the disagreements and methodologies allied meteorologists had for deciding an invasion date and the potential consequences if anything had been done differently.
