Next CVAAMS Meeting April 22th with Dr. Allen!

The next Zoom meeting of the Central Virginia AMS Chapter will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 22th. Our speaker will be Dr. Tom Allen, Professor, Political Science & Geography, Old Dominion University. Dr. Allen will talk to us about his research which suggests evidence of a tornado alley in Virginia. Dues are still due if you have not already sent me a check. $25 for an individual, $40 for family. Chapter elections will be held via Google form which is anonymous. If you have not already, you can email me if you are interested in an officer position. Or you can throw your name into the ring during the meeting. Peter and I are term-limited (our three years are up). Only the chapter president must be a national AMS member; Full, Associate or Student. The Zoom meeting will be open starting around 6:30 pm for pre-meeting discussion.

Although encouraged, chapter members do not need to be members of the AMS.
