Next Meeting June 20th at the Grapevine!

The next meeting of the Central Virginia Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) will be at 6:00 pm (5:00 pm if you want to join us for dinner), Thursday, June 20, 2019 at The Grapevine Restaurant, 11055 Three Chopt Rd, Henrico, Virginia.


The topic will be "The History of Hurricane Forecasting and the Great American Storm Controversy".


The speaker will be our chapter president, Peter Effertz, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.

All Central Virginia Chapter AMS meetings are welcome to all with an interest in meteorology/weather (professional meteorologists and weather enthusiasts). Although encouraged, chapter members do not need to be members of the AMS.


If you know anyone who would like to be included in chapter email notifications or if you would like to be removed from the email notification list, please let Mr.Salkovitz know.
