Statement from our President Ben Woods on the passing of CVAAMS member Lowell Koontz.
"It’s with sadness that I share about the passing of one of our club’s own, Lowell Koontz. We had known for some time that Lowell had serious health issues and had hoped that he could overcome them. Lowell recently donated a large collection of meteorology books to the Library of Virginia and very recently donated meteorology textbooks that can be given away at our Central VA AMS Student Meteorology Conference on November 3rd. There is a wealth of weather information on his website, glenallenweather.com."
